Intro

As a former teacher who is now entering into a new life chapter and who has had both experiences of stay at home mom and professional life, I'm Awe-inspired and interested in meaningful life experiences and applicable skills acquisition learning. I see this based on individual desires, intent, passion, talents and skill level. Learning only becomes meaningful and lasting when whatever you learn becomes a part of who you are and what you’re interested in. Repeated desired application and relativity is what makes learning, learning. Anything other than that seems like jumping through hoops for a grade or certificate.

I'm here to help create communities where people are allowed more than the limited options of the status quo. For me, AWE communities symbolize exactly what Mark means by it: Abundance, Wellness, Empowerment. AWE communities will be places where people are free to explore what matters most to them and live among others who are thriving doing what they do best. Awe communities are for people looking to live greener, healthier, fuller lives peacefully among their neighbors and friends. This is what attracts me to AWE and will help me realize my dream to support the pursuit of happiness for others through the area of lifelong learning.

Activities, Interests, Hobbies

I love to write, read, and walk in nature. I recently started a blog check it out at https://howiseeitsometimes.blogspot.com/ also enjoy travel, yoga, staying fit and healthy. I love the ocean and the mountains. I'm an avid skier and a beginning surfer. I love to cook, but salads are always what everyone wants from me. I love good films, good poetry/literature, good theater, dance and music. I flamenco dance a little and would like to improve in that area! I'm very interested in the fields of neuroscience/brain development and how that effects learning and life in general, love biohacking, botanicals/botany, gem stones and crystals, epigenetics, body/energetic work, learning more about our bio-magnetic field and how that interplays with our overall well-being.
